rikka Posted January 18, 2007 Share Posted January 18, 2007 Ok, so I had the Mirena IUD inserted January 3rd. Since then I have had a mild-moderate period. Somedays it is heavier than others. I was told to expect some spotting for the first little while, but it has been 2 weeks and I am still bleeding. Does anyone else have the Mirena IUD? Is this "normal" with an IUD? Should I be going back to the OB/GYN? Link to comment
Mythical_Suicide Posted January 18, 2007 Share Posted January 18, 2007 I've never had the IUD my SIL did and she experienced on and off bleeding the first few weeks and was told it was perfectly normal. Your body is just getting used to the difference Link to comment
