Do you prefer random approaching or meeting through friends?

Personally, I've never felt comfortable approaching anyone. I've always preferred meeting people through mutual friends. That way, we have something in common right off the bat. What about you guys?

Often even if approached at random, we later realize we have some mutual friends. The beauty of living in small towns. Meeting men through mutual friends is fine too, so I don't really have a preference. Either way is good.

 

If you have mutual friends, then you already know that you'll enjoy and be comfortable around the friends. If you don't know the same people, then you have the chance to get to know some new people, which is usually pretty fun.
