Yeah, sometimes. It depends who the person is basically. I'll usually tell them light hearted mean stuff and pretend not to care, but I don't take it too far as to make them think I hate them. I say as little as possible and I sit away from them but not before saying hi or something. I usualy do all that with girls I already know though.

What I like to do is ignore them. It always drives them crazy. They will always be the first to walk up to you and say hi and ask you why didn't you say hi and so on. I also sometime try talking to them as little as possible and just pretend that I don't care about nothing.

But when guys do that it makes me feel like they think i am annoying, so i stop trying to flirt. how can i tell the difference from a guy playing ''cat and the mouse'' and a guy that wants me to go away?

Its hard to tell really. Usually, the guy acts happy and you should be able to tell if their joking, but sometimes some dudes don't act like their joking even though they are. I guess you should keep flirting until they get really mad and tell you to leave them alone. Usually its best for girls to flirt with guys they already know since its easier to tell.

bascially your question can be rephrased to: how can you tell if a guy likes you but is trying to hide it/not make it obvious?

 

well i hope its a similar thing, anyway, to tell if hes playing hard to get, talk to him, if he is playing hard to get then he wont flirt at all BUT there are things that will let you know he likes you that even he cant control. he could subconsiously look down at your mouth or raise his eyebrows when hes talking to you, either of those are pretty indicative. dont try to dress seductively by wearing a low cut top or something, youll find even gay guys will probably glance down at your chest - purely because its on show, so dont presume that he likes you if he does. hope thats been of some help..
