the worst that can happen is that I myself get frustrated and I am the one that ends the friendship. After all, how long can I stand to torture myself ? By the ways, You all said that she senses that I like her. She does know that I like her, I have told her myself. It was quite a while ago (like four or five months ago). She didn't totally reject me, but obviosly we aren't going out. Thanks to all you people that responded, I appreciate it.

I just found this site today so I figured I would go ahead and post here. Here's my scoop. There is this girl that I met a few years ago, that I developed a crush on. We are like super-close friends. We hang out together literally all the time, talk for hours, go out by ourselves and with other people, etc. Anyways the thing is that I really really like her. But we've been friends for a really long time. I dont really know how to ask her out. It's not a matter of asking for a date or as if she was a total stranger, it would be easy then. But since we are such close friends, I ain't exactly sure how to do this. She does know that I have a crush on her, I HAVE told her (but that was quite a while ago).
