I am a sophmore in highschool, and i have never been on a date. i just have a problem talking to girls, and apporching and asking out a girl. what should i do?

On a sports team that I am on, there is a girl that i am pretty sure doesn't like me, but i really like her. I know that she likes 2 other guys on my team. I have thought about asking her out for a while now, but i just don't know if i should, or if i should then how would i do it
