Can anyone tell me their thoughts on affairs from both points of view? I want to be with one of my best friends, but she is married. I know I should walk away, but we have been trying that for the past 10 months and we cant seem to stay away from each other.
recently she has expressed a desire for an affair, but I dont want to be the second guy in her life, I want to be the guy she comes home to, to take care of her, to comfort her, everything.
so my choices are to leave, and lose her. to have the affair, and never have her whole heartedly, or to stay in her life as a friend, and be tormented by our desires. She wont leave him, i dont know why but she doesnt want to lose me either. she is off and on happy with him, she is really back and forth in her emotions.
I know it's a classic case of having your cake and eat it too, but it doesnt help me. anyone who has been in an affair, can you shed some light on my problem?
