My boyfriend, the only love of my life that I know I'll ever have is 2000 miles away from me. I rarely get to see him, but I know we are young and very much in love. He has become my everything, my best friend, my lover, my mentor and my student. I am 20 and he is 19 and our problem is that he's trying to make it out here to live in the same city I am. My mother is against the whole idea and his parents, who could care less about him, are glad to see him go. The only problem is financially, he can't afford it at the time. We have to wait another 6 months without seeing each other. We've been together for almost 2 years now, which is the longest relationship I've been in as well as him. We both love each other and can barely stand the wait. . . . it is so hard with writing and phone calls every day, but missing the actually physicality of the relationship, is very hard. I know I can't love anyone else, but should I wait this journey out or leave with a broken heart?
