Alone in the Night

I sit awake throughout the night,

Wondering how much longer until the time is right.

When I am yours, and you are mine.

When everything in life will be just fine.

 

I love you more than words can say,

As I sit here and wait for the day.

The day when you become mine forever.

When nothing can keep us apart, ever!

 

I've never loved anyone like I love you...

So this is all something very new.

So, as I sit here all alone tonight,

I wonder how long till I hold you tight.
