  2. Gratitude therapy...I like that, ToV and I like your reflections on Gratitude. (I'd Rep you for that, but must spread my Reps around more.) It is a remedy for that dark place, or a Life Line that's available for pulling oneself out of darkness. I've noticed that gratitude slows things down. It pauses my runaway train of thought. If I open to even a little gratitude it grows and feels so much bigger and fuller than that crazy train. It's subtle at first, and then it just IS. The more I open to gratitude the less time I have for stressful thinking. (I'm not cured, but there's less time or space or need for it.)

  5. 9) Embracing mistakes "The way we think about mistakes can play a pivotal role in how we experience life. We miss out on so much potential when we obsess about mistakes in all things. Understanding which things require perfection and when the freedom from worrying about mistakes can greatly enhance our lives is critical." —Melanie Rothschild (artist link removed)

  15. "Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow." — MELODY BEATTIE

  23. Hi Silver, I can't remember what I lost. Small things along the way, really. I used to feel an urgent need to find the thing I'd lost, that it was on MY shoulders to find it. I've come to be open to the idea that we can have help from unseen energies (beings? angels? Spirit? our higher self? friends and loved ones who've passed? our subconscious? or _____?______). Now, I decide that the lost thing will be found and ask for it to be shown to me, and then let go of searching. When it does show up I am touched by a feeling of kindness, and I say "thank you". If anything, it's made my life better. Lovely things you have in your life. I share your appreciation!
