We had a house together that we had difficulty selling. It finally sold in November. I spoke with a lawyer, child support will be 1200-1300. She works part time, won't look for a better paying job, refuses to apply for low income subsidies which she'll need once I move out. I don't want my daughter being forced to live in squalor when she's with her mother.

Leaving an unfaithful spouse. We've been stuck cohabitating due to financial constraints for the last 18 months. Now that I can finally afford to separate its been a real pain in the *** trying to find a suitable apartment. We have a child together so I can't just pick any old dump for us. Just missed out on 2 apartments. I could taste it, I was so close. They wanted me to do a walk thru before any paperwork is signed. I was out of town and couldn't. I felt so close to finally having some freedom. To be so close but still stuck has me feeling pretty down right now. That's all. I'm just venting.
