  1. Oh my god, I had this problem recently too. Except I am female and it occurred on my legs. About 2 weeks after shaving my legs with that nair cream they got very itchy. I saw tons of little blackish-reddish bumps all over my legs and assumed I must have caught something from the gym or other, because I'd never had a reaction to Nair. Looking closer at the bumps, i could see that they were actually hairs, under the skin. I'd never had this problem before so I looked it up online. Found out that exfoliators are very good for ingrown hairs. I went out and bought some high quality exfoliator and body butter, and within 3 to 4 days of exfoliating and moisturizing with the body butter, the itching is all but gone and the hairs are starting to come out. The key is to keep the skin moisturized and soft so that eventually the hairs will work their way out. I assume that my ingrown hairs were caused by me wearing somewhat tight jeans so soon after shaving and the constant walking I do around the city, coupled with me not moisturizing my legs enough. If this is indeed the issue you are having, I don't recommend pulling the hairs out yourself because that can lead to infection. Just go to a bath and body works type shop or even wal-mart and get some exfoliating facial wash and also a moisturizer to put on your face afterward. Good luck!
