My husband is a little over 9 inches, but unless you're making love with it instead of keeping it to yourself---from my perspective--it really doesn't matter what size it is. It's like the song says--if you 'have a choice to sit it out or Dance, I Hope you Dance!' As the path gets a little more narrow you just want to make love.
