I've always had poetry in my heart but it wasn't until thebwoman I was going to marry left me for the arms of another that I could get the words out. I wrote this will in was sweeping the dock of the warehouse that I manage. Hope you enjoy. Thanks for reading.

Constantly I think of you
Through all the reds,through all the blues
Through different shades,through different hues
Constantly I think of you
From out of darkness and through the light
From all my mornings and through my nights
Constantly I think of you
With all of my weakness,with all my might
With all my wrongs,with all my rights
Constantly I think of you
Behind my courage are many fears
Behind my smiles are many tears
At the end of it all I stand alone
Like a king without a throne
I place my heart and crown upon this shelf
Then I stand here by myself

Free to roam from heart shaped cage
You travel paths in shoes of age
After suns and moons and suns have passed
You begin to see that nothing lasts
As you stumble upon the gates of death
You say to self with dying breath
I hope I lived along the way
For the cost of life is the price we pay
