Don't Care What Day it is, I just feel cool about my life at this moment in time.

Haven't been thinking about her much at all lately. Maybe just maybe I don't love her as much as I thought I did...........

Day 21. (Left me 3 months ago for someone else)

Have met someone that I clicked with almost immediately. Funny how you think these things will never happen to you again and then when you least expect it BAM! it hits you right between the eyes. I have thought about my ex less today than any other thanks to this new girl. Onwards and Upwards.

Im not sure what day it is (20ish I think), and to be honest I dont really care. She had her opportunity to have me in her life and she chose not to, which ultimately is her loss.....

Defo is starting NC over. Doesnt matter if you meant it or not. She recieved it and 99% of me said she read it.

Day 1 my friend. Chin up thou...

Don't be so hard on yourself Bronte. Its is hard to ignore when you think your ex might be reaching out to you. I like you had this and I wasnt as strong as you I went back to asking her to come see me so we could chat. Bad idea..... It wont happen again thou I promise you that.

I think most people have some weak moments so you're not alone, Keep your chin up girl you'll get there. Don't forget you're awesome and its his loss. x

I'm sure it will go great and will make you feel amazing Im sure. I even got a 2nd one lined up with her tomorrow night and another one with a different girl on Saturday. Feels great to feel attractive and wanted again

 

I took your advice and was totally open minded about the whole situation. To be perfectly honest I didn't think about the ex much at during the date and a hell of a lot less during the day today. Progress finally!

lostandunhappy- good luck on your date- try not to compare her to your ex (not fair to her) but maybe she will have some unique, amazing qualities that will blow you away in a different way

Day 15

Date was awesome didn't judge her or even compare her to my ex. Just decided I was going to have a good time no matter what happened. Even had a little kiss at the end of the night, was strange to start with as it felt like I was being unfaithful to my ex. But that feeling didnt last long as it felt good

Day 14 (split for 3 months)

Feeling okay, out on a date in 10 minutes. I know she won't live up to my ex but I want to go out and have a good time. Why should I be stuck indoors pining over someone who doesnt want to be with me.

Roll on day 1000.

And what a great post it is, shame SD is not around here anymore helping people out.

Day 10

Had a awful day today, know its her sisters 30th birthday and they have a special night planned. Making me feel depressed, I'd love to be there with them celebrating. Still she has chosen someone else over me what can I do but accept it and move on.

Its easier said than done thou when its someone you love. Roll on day 120.

What about sending birthday greetings to her family. Its her sisters and mothers birthday the end of the week and I was a part of the family for over 8 years. Is it wrong to send them a simple text wishing them a happy birthday?

Day 6.

Been out to dinner with my family which was great.

Day 3

Damn I had gone 29 days and started feeling much better, then she sucked me back in and I fell for it. Hopefully I will be stronger next time, if there is a next time......

This thread gives me so much hope!
