I was actually gonna say they're awesome! You inspire me to go out and take more scenery photos. You really should save up for a decent DSLR, you could take some amazing photos cause you have the eye for it.
-
How long have you been taking photos for kaotic?
-
im okayy! my tummy hurts a little, but otherwise fine ! this is a photography thread though hmm....... maybe i should post some pics.
ooh, we're killing the photography thread lol. I'll have a look thru my pics and post 1 or 2.
-
i'm not really sure.............
Change of topic then lol. How are you today kaotic?
-
ah, okay. they're a little shy. i get it.
Lol, why are we talking about this??
-
hmmm.. why the sudden transition? lol
umm after christmas i guess
cause Bad and Wolf dont like people talking about them lol.
-
alrighty. you have fun with that. haha.
When were you looking at buying a camera?
-
well they've been named for a while now. i don't want to give them an identity crisis.
lol, ok, i'll name mine Bad and Wolf
-
i named MINE bertha and georgina.........
lol! How about Bad and Wolf?
-

*mouth drops open* *gasp*
I will need the lense so lions dont eat me the camera is just fooking aweomse! Canon 1D m2 i think.
-
it probably is. but big numbers scare me.
You could get one cheaper 2nd hand and you dont have to get the 350D, you could get the 300D but it's only a 6mp camera...
-
2K???!!! That's a lot! But money is just money and if you can spend it on something that makes you happy then it was money well spent.
The camera I want is 7k... the lense I want is 15-20k........
Save up kaotic! it's well worth it.
-
How much do they run in price?
Around $500 with the lense kit. Wish mine was that cheap when I bought mine... Paid 2k for mine!
-
I have just a regular digital camera that I got as I gift for my last birthday. It's a Polaroid i633. Is it good enough to take decent pictures?
Yeah, it will take a decent pic but ya really need a camera with manual mode... so you can adjust shutter speed, iso and aperture.
-
I'd get a camera like mine... It's a cheap, decent camera and is very user friendly. It has automatic mode and manual mode + a bunch of others that I never use. link removed

heh, I'll teach yas sometime
-
no not really. i think i'll stick to point and click for the time being. haha.
heh, what dont you understand?
-
Can I use it as my background on my computer? I always like to ask before I do. It's so beautiful!
I wish I could take pictures like that!
Any pics I post up here or on link removed you can do whatever you want with cept for sell! not that they'd sell lol.
-
yep, that's the one.
i was trying to figure that one out last night when i was taking the snow pictures.
It's called panning. Use a low aputure, the lower the aputure the less light will get in when you open the shutter which means you can use a slow shutter speed, say 1/15th of a second. Maually focus on a point where w/e you want to shoot will pass by so you wont need to focus it while taking the shot. Watch the subject thru the camera but try to keep it in one spot on the view finder else it will turn out all blury then when it gets to the point you focused on take the pic but dont stop following the bird till your sure the camra has taken the pic cause the slower the shutter speeds, the slower the camera takes the pic.
I'm still a noob at using that technique but it can make a bird in flight look really amazing especially when it's gliding. The duck in that pic was flapping it's wings so they turned out a bit blury. I hope that made sense lol.
-
there was one i loved, where you had the flying bird in the center of the photo, and made it look like the background was moving (like the birds point of view.) how do you do something like that??
You mean this one?

Most of my pics are of animals so I like to keep them the focus of the pic. I'd so something like what you said with scenery pics though.
