  1. Hey, that's awesome! How'd you have your camera set? and what camera?

WAY better than my first attempt...

Canon EOS 350D. Exposure time was 20 seconds, ISO was 200 and F-number (aperture) was F/29.

  2. Didn't realize there were 2 rabbits in front of me till I was like 6-7m away... I'm gutted I couldn't use my fill in flash and I didn't use a high enough f/stop

  4. OWB thanks

Wolf, did you hear about the meteor showers last night? So wish I had the time and the right weather...haven't done any bulb shots or night time shots in long time!

Nope, prolly wouldn't of been able to see them from here anyway Bulb shots are awesome, I love photographing the stars and seeing how far they've moved in 30 seconds +.

    A water lily.

Very nice, did you edit the background with ps?

Have you noticed any loss in quality since you started using your macro filter? I'm trying to decide whether I should buy a macro filter or extension tubes. I'm, sorta leaning towards the extension tubes cause I've been told that macro filters soften images...

  6. not quite sure about new zealand, do you have herons there?

i live near a man made lake and as a little hobby of mine, ive been documenting a family of herons. its a great way of capturing different aspects of the birds life.

you have a lot of natural history shots. you thought of going that way as a job??

not sure if you have checked my link out, i have put a few of my natural stuff on there.

We have a few different species of heron in New Zealand but there aren't much near where I live.

Wildlife is my chosen area in photography and hopefully I'll be studying photography in the states next year.

You have some really nice photos, is photography for you just a hobby or a career? Here are a few of my photos, pretty much all of them are of wildlife.

uh who's apologizing? and I wouldn't of posted it if I didn't like it

  8. I like this one - it's very abstract. I lie the blue and white contrast.

if that one wasn't so overexposed it would of looked alright. I like the duck one better.
