The Struggle Sitting, thinking, can’t stop sinking Wondering why I haven’t died Missing you and trying to break through Realizing that you are one of few Huffing, puffing, you know I’m only bluffing Trying everything to regain you Making mistakes and slamming on the brakes Hitching a ride out to the lakes Prying, trying I just end up sighing Pushing you away is all I do Wiping away the tears and blocking out all the fears Praying I’ll get you back one of these years.
