SheWolf
Any advice would be oh-so-great because I cannot find anything on this! Alright so for a little over a year like ever few weeks or a month or so I'll get one or two tiny red dot like bumps on my fingers (they are not pimples, they will not pop although if I scratch them they turn into sores, oh yeah and they hurt.) I never got these until my husband ,when he was my bf,came to visit me (which was the first time I kissed a guy or anything else.) thanks. Link to comment
CrazyKing
could be anything - food is often associated with such things... visit a nearby dermatologist... Link to comment

CarnelianButterfly
First, stop popping them, breaking the skin will leave you open for infection. It might be a form of eczema, there is a form that just makes little blisters of fluid from sweat glands not being able to release their contents on the surface of the skin (dyshidrosis). Here's a pic of what it can look like... image removed The best thing to do would be to see a doctor. If not a dermatologist, at least a family doctor or nurse practioner. The blisters can lead to infections which would be very nasty. Link to comment
SheWolf
Yikes... mine usually just come in one or two, they don't look like that... I would take a picture of it (it's not gross looking) but I wouldn't know how to put it up here. Link to comment
SheWolf
Actually it looks a lot like this image removed Link to comment
SheWolf
I normally get it on my first two fingers or thumb, (i don't wear rings on those fingers.) Link to comment
indigo_scar
Ah, that sounds a lot like chilblains to me. Some people are prone to them- myself included. They can be itchy and sore, and sound a lot like your description. They're very common and nothing to worry about. I use a cream called Balmosa which helps to soothe them a bit more. Hope this helps! =) Link to comment

It comes for a couple days then I wont see it for a long time, I always thought it was somehow associated with stress or something like hives. Link to comment
CrazyKing
As I saw the pictures I rememmber having them for a while a year ago - they passed by somehow (luckily)... Link to comment
Daddy Bear
I think I've had the same thing as SheWolf, although I don't know the name of it. Every few months you get a single, painful red area on the back of the hand or finger, never right near the fingertip or wrist, with a tiny blister in the middle. When you pop it, a small amount of clear fluid comes out, leaving a hole, and then the thing dries up with a sort of shiny look and disappears. It doesn't look like chilblains or the eczema in CB's picture. I googled the living hell out of this, but came up empty. Link to comment
Locke2121
Oh yeah! I've had those things...never really bothered me. I just assumed that I was rubbing up against some plant I was allergic too, gardener you know. Link to comment
CarnelianButterfly
The eczema I discussed is a stress and allergy related problem, its often associated with hay fever. I get that bumpiness all accross the backs of my hands. I try to keep the skin hydrated with lotion and use a cream like cortizone twice a day and when it really itches. I have other eczema types but that one is one of the weirdest looking. Link to comment

Oh wow, I've been having the same problem for as long as I can remember! Except I get them on my feet too! It kind of looks like the one picture that one of the posters posted up in the previous post! I only get them during winter time, so I always thought that it's either just eczema or an allergic reaction to cold (???) or something. It usually goes away when the weather gets warmer lol. But I think I do have sensitive skin because last winter I had a really bad rash on my stomach, thighs and chest, and after a visit to the dermatologist, I was told that I had eczema. He prescribed me this really greasy ointment that I put on everyday and that really helped out with the problem. Link to comment

Locke2121
No...I'm sure in today's society, with tons of toxins being pumped out of factories, cities spraying that crap insecticide all over the place and just the general level of pollution, that there are all kinds of things that cause minor rashes and lesions. CarnelianButterfly
My friend lives in Alabama, she has a horrible time when they defoliate the cotton. She can't be outside for weeks and has to have extra filters in her air system. Link to comment
mintblossom
is it syphillis?? syphillis causes little reddish blisters to form on the fingers sometimes. it's one of the symptoms. Link to comment
SheWolf
yipes, i hope not. Do you have a picture of what they look like? It shouldn't be, I've only been with one man my whole life. Link to comment
SheWolf
I do have a brown shaded tiny spot on both the soles of my feet, but I've never had any type of place like that on my vagina or butt. Link to comment
SheWolf
I figured the feet spots were from wearing bad shoes that hurt my feet, and dont cover them so well and from the rocks poking them idk. Link to comment

Daddy Bear
I don't think there's much cause for worry, SheWolf. Your description and picture very closely match the phenomenon that I first noticed occasionally popping up on my own hands about 15 years ago, and I'm still fit as a fiddle. It damn sure wasn't syph, I'll tell you that!! Link to comment
SheWolf
Thanks, made me feel a lot better. Link to comment
xXColaXx
Freaks me out a little I have horrible anxiety. I registered for this site just to reply to this post. You know what you may find interesting is i have a very similar problem. I have multiple small tiny red bumps on both hands mainly on the index fingers running along the opposite side of the middle finger and i am becoming worried on what they could be just as you are. I also have anxiety,i wonder if anxiety is somehow related? I've read about various skin conditions and stress having something to do with them in many cases, maybe anxiety can trigger this? I have been applying aloe so my hands and it seems to make them feel a bit better. I too do not have the money to go seek medical help i wish i did though. Keep me informed on your condition and maybe get a pic of your hand. Searching google and seeing all the things it could possibly be can be a very scary thing, i try not to dwell on any of them to keep my anxiety at bay. Link to comment
