chickidee23
Hey again everyone. I meant to write this a long time ago but for those of you who remember my questions about getting "down there" waxed, here is my update: So I did it and my SO went with me (how sweet, huh?). He waited in the lobby while I went in. The lady I went to was very nice BUT she definitely did not calm my fears. First thing she said when I walked into the room was, "So, you must have a high tolerance for pain today." Gee, thanks a lot. Anyway, the beginning didn't hurt much at all- it's just like waxing your eyebrows. The closer she got to "down there," though, the more it hurt- so bad, in fact that I made her stop when is was just a plain french wax. I'm such a wuss, I know. The worst part was the swollen-ness and red spots that didn't go away for about 3 days! I got some very good stuff to put on it so it didn't bother me even though it looked bad. So, after my experience, would I recommend this to anyone else? I sure would. It may be a bit painful but it's been almost 3 weeks and the hairs are just starting to grow back ( sorry if that's TMI)! I'm definitely doing it again! Thanks to all who pointed me in that direction!!!! Link to comment
rose2summer
Wow, your brave. I tried it once and I was running out immediately thereafter. It really depends on who performs it. Sounds like you had someone who was experienced. Take care, Rose Link to comment

Try taking some ibruprofen about 30 mins to an hour before your appt next time. It also helps with the pain. Link to comment
