Should I ask her out tomorrow or no?

Ok heres my story:

I've recently met this girl for about a month now, lets call her Jessica. In one of my class we had to walk around campus to do a project independently and one day two of my friends bump into Jessica and they exchange emails to share info for the project.

The next day I finally met her cause I had to meet up with my two friends and so we're all working on the project together. At this point Jessica and I talked casually.

A few days later she added me on MSN by asking one of my friends for my email. (I dunno if that means anything im just typing everything that happen)

We talk a lil bit here and there on MSN. Then a week or so past by and we went to lunch before going to work on the second assignment which we had the same topic. During lunch the topic of relationships came up and she told me her bf and her recently broke up cause her bf liked someone else and I told her I had the same situation about 8 months ago too.

Then two days later we met up again but this time we didnt get much work done we were just talking about nonsense and joking around and we made each other laugh. This lasted for about 4 hours. This is when I realized she's a really cool and nice girl and I like her.

During our conversations in person and on msn she mentioned she was going to the Buffalo with her girlfriend on the weekend to shop, then she asked if I wanted to come. I said I couldnt because I had to finish my other assignment for another class. Then she asked if I wanted her to buy something for me and pay her back later. I said i'm good.

My question is does it seem that she might be interested in me or is she just a regular nice girl or she just wants to do school work and we're just friends.

I was thinking of asking her out tomorrow by saying something like "Hey you wanna go on a date somewhere when your free?"

I'm scare I might be moving too fast and also especially since she's recently out of a relationship herself. But on the other hand I don't want to let this slip into the "Friends Zone", cause its not like Im asking her to be my gf or anything I just want to let her know I'm attracted to her by popping up the word "date".

Thanks for reading.

Hey Arch-

The only way to answer this question is to ask her out. We can sit here and speculate on her motivations all day and all night without any surety.

My advice to you is to act on this ASAP and let her know it is a "date" without saying such explicitly. I would say something like:

"Hey Jessica, do you want to do dinner at on Friday night?"

This way, it says "more than friends" and suggests a relatively immediate answer by specifying the time. It is also short, sweet, and to the point, less chance to screw up...

At any rate, for the sake of chuckles, I think she digs you...

all signs point to yes. i've been invited to go out with a chick and her friend for lunch and shopping. she paid for my lunch. i offered of course. then i just casually walked around with them looking at stuff. not long though. i can't shop with women for that long. but we hooked up later that week.
