shy2cool
There's a girl that I find rather attractive at work. I'm just to shy to talk to her. She's always with another girl or two, so it's weird if I just say something. I've only ever said one thing to her and I was really shy and my voice was all messed up when I did. She knows that I can speak 'normally', when I talk to the boss etc... I kinda want to subtly get her attention but dunno how. I noticed that she used look my way when I went for my breaks a while back, when I was just starting there, but now doesn't even notice at all. What am I thinking... she's probably taken anyway. ghost69
well, if you paid her no attention before maybe she isn't interested. i always advise caution in a workplace for dating. if your business is cool with dating within the workplace go for it. otherwise, wait until you are outside of the building on a break or something. you don't want to get fired. musicguy
Workplace dating is kinda risky, plus I don't know if you'd wanna spend every second with that person, at work or away from work Link to comment
ghost69
i've been in business for a long time and have always heard the taboos of work related hookups. Link to comment
Leonhart
If people didn't date at work, there would be FAR fewer people getting together than what we have. Link to comment
ghost69
yeah wil, but more people out there in a social setting on the reverse side of the coin. Link to comment
ghost69
no man. how come when i say social setting you think bars or parties? social setting is any gathering. anywhere. Link to comment
Leonhart
What about a work-related party? lol Link to comment
Altruist
Yeah, I'd also stay away from work related hookups. Besides affecting your performance at work, you'd probably get bored of each other quickly when you see each other so often. Link to comment
scotty77
Actually I think work is one of the best places to meet someone. As long as you aren't working side by side every moment.Of course things might not be so fine if you were to go out with someone from work for awhile and then the romance fizzles but that's the risk you take in any potential romance.
