Ok, not lurv, but LOVE. I want your opinions here. Do you think its possible to truly love someone else if you still have feelings for the last person you were with? Even after years of being apart from them? Or would any feelings of love for this new person be false?

You love mom and dad, right? Proof that your heart is not limited to loving one person.

Yes, you can. However, it would be quite interesting for you to find out if what you are feeling for the old relationship, is love, or is it just good memories being confused.

Of course it's possible! There's a reason that you fell for a former person, and for one reason or another you've moved on. And even if you've found a new love, there's nothing wrong with still having feelings for another person. Your old love and new love are obviously not the same people, otherwise there would be no point in breaking up with one to be with the other, you know? There are tons of reasons to love someone, and some of those reasons won't be replicated in anyone else, and that's okay. It's truly a matter of what you plan to do with those feelings. It's okay to miss an ex even if you're in a committed relationship, of course it's not okay to act upon those feelings and try to have the best of both worlds. The reality is, relationships don't suddenly end and the people you were once with don't lose all those great attributes that you once saw in them. There's always room to like and love multiple people, just make sure you control yourself and don't hurt anyone by doing so!
