basically the old post was this guy who seemed REALLY into me...he was always asking questions trying to get to know me and he even jumped at asking for my number...he just seems EXTREMELY flirtatious whenever he's around me..

 

so today i had my hair up in a ponytail and he says, "i like your hair in a ponytail, it's cute" and he's always trying to catch glances at me....is he into me? or does he just want to compliment my ponytail?

 

and does he like me LIKE me..? will he ever work up the courage to ask me out?!

I don't think you're giving us enough information to give you a good answer to be honest. It sounds like he might be interested, but there's no way to be sure without more info.

He may be shy. Have you thought of that?

I agree wholeheartedly. Next time he looks at you, smile and look into his eyes, that will let him know that you like him, remember it's up to him to ask you out, help him out and good luck.

It does not have to be left to the guy to ask a girl out, we are no longer in the victorian age !

 

Think about this. If YOU have no interest in someone, do you show indications of interest in them ? NO. If YOU do like someone, do you show indications of interest in them ? Yes.

 

Now if YOU like someone and you show emotional interest in them but do not reiceve positive emotional responces, then would you assume they like or dislike you.

it is being nice. some guys are sincere and some are gay and notice. i usually notice because i love women. whether i want them or not. the woman should try and pry a bit to get an interested reaction out of the guy if she wants to know.

Your situation sounds similar to mine...except your guy probably doesn't have a long distance relationship, plus your guy asked for your number (mine hasn't) so that's a big indication that he's into you.*S* I receive compliments from this guy at work all the time, but I think he's just really flirtatious (see Frustrated with His Flirting).
