This Little Lady
I was curious. Is it true that guys can get bladder infections from having sex?
EvaGina
not that Iknow of. Its WAY harder for guys to get bladder infections, for a few reasons. But no, I have never heard of a guy getting a urine infection from boning... I have never met a guy who has had a urine infection (that I know of)
southerngirl
Women tend to get more bladder infections than men. They can even get bladder infections after sex. This is probably becuase bacteria and all can get pushed up into the urethra during sex. You are also more likely to get one if you do not urinate after sex. Urinating, even if its a little bit will help to clean out that stuff that may have gotten pushed up in there. I havent heard of this happening to men though hmmm.... southerngirl
Chlamydia can have bladder infection like symptoms when its advanced. Yeast infections can also be passed back and forth endlessly if there is no protection.
This Little Lady
Haha.Yeah, this guys wasn't an std thought. It just never made any sense that he'd get a bladder infection. I was just wondering if it was be possible from girl to guy and how that actually happens. Its pretty weird but it makes sense.

southerngirl
A yeast infection isnt an std. Has he gone to the doctor is he sure he even has a bladder infection? Also, if he does really have a bladder infection, he may be confused because he likely did not get it from sex.

Mythical_Suicide
It is possible, although very rare. My ex and I passed a UTI more than once, and yes it was told by a doctor that this was what wa shappening. It is alot harder for men to get bacteria and stuff but it isn't impossible. He needs to see a doctor no matter what as UTI can sometimes be bad enough to pose a health risk./
Cyprian
Yes, its true that men can get yeast infections as well. It could also be a UTI, maybe some sort of trauma, or an STD.
