rose2summer
Six months ago I was on ENA terribly upset about my breakup, unbelieving of how things could turn out, shocked, upset. I was hopeless and came here to find how many people reached out to me. It was ONLY through my breakup that I was able to reach my goals and pursue my dreams. I would not be where I am today had it not happened. I had everything anyone could ever want, all the food I needed, a roof over my head, a car, friends, the perfect life, yet my entire focus was on how upset I was about my relationship. I was incredibly close-minded and focused my efforts on someone else, my ex. I picked up my bags and moved to another country, with only my suitcase and started a new life. I am furthering my education, but I don't always have food readily available, eat the same food everyday (when it is available), do not have clean water, no hot water, go days with no electricity, no car, but you know what, I know that life is about what you make of it, it's not about pleasing others, aka your ex, it's about you. I may not have all the amenities that others do, but I realize I can depend on ME and ONLY me and I don't need someone else to be happy. Even if I don't have clean food, water, electricity, I will always have myself to depend on and that's the only person YOU should depend on. You will survive a breakup despite how difficult it seems. Remember your happiness depends only on you and no one else. Hugs, Rose Link to comment

DizzyDoris
Good for you rose on going for your dreams and doing something about them I believe that everything happens for a reason....although it may take time to see what that reason was. Often we look back later and can understand those reasons. Link to comment
