Too many hot chicks to choose from

Ahhh. Just walked through the city and there were so many hot young chicks.

 

I walked by the nightspots and felt old, tired and worn out. Damaged goods.

 

The ex is probably feeling so free and eager to discover all these new and exciting people.

 

My heart aches.

 

I tried to look at men to see if I felt interested but I only felt sick. I became so loyal with my ex that I just was not interested in other people. :sad:

But you are one of those hot chicks too, you know. It takes time to reconnect to your independence and enjoy life on your own after a break up. But you will in time. Remember that those 'hot young chicks' possibly are also just dumped and see you just the way you see them. In time you will not even notice that you are checking out other men. Take the time to heal!

I was out last night too Kate, first time for a while. I kind of felt like an outsider, and it also felt very strange being out, and single. I'm not sure I liked it too much. When I was with the ex and I went out without her I felt relaxed and happy, there was not pressure on me to look around at the 'talent' and all that type of thing. Last night I just didn't feel confident at all and of course did not get together with anyone (although I didn't actually make an effort to).

 

I feel like I need some new clothes but the ex always helped me choose before as she had quite a keen eye for what I looked good in, I'm not sure I'm so hot on choosing outfits for myself!!

Yeah you are probably right. I don't think I am cut out for chasing other women right now, 'rejection' (even when I have not asked) feel 10 x worse right now so why bother??

I think that period ofter a breakup can be asexual, but it lets us heal in peace. You'll get back to your old self, hopefully without the pains of a rebound fling. Sure, there are lots of hotties out there, but only one like you.

33 isn't old. I know someone who is 81 and he is getting married in three weeks.

 

Also, I recently went to a salsa dance club, and there was a woman in her

70's there doing salsa with lots of guys. IN fact a danced with her for a while, and it was fun and a unique experience. LOL. You are not too old for anything.
