How Much Sex is Enough??

Hello again. I was just wondering how much sex is considered to be normal? In the beginning of my relationship, my bf and I had sex maybe once a week but more recently after the 8th month stage until now, we have sex maybe 3-4 times a week. The reason why I am asking is because we have been together over a year now and I don't want our relationship to focus more on sexual aspect and lose focus on the emotional/intellectual/spiritual and mental connection we have. What would you guys deem the 'right' amount of sexual activity to be?

the right amount of sex depends on you, how much you both want, each person is different, you may want 3 times a week, he may want it every day.. you need to come to a compromise.

It depends on the couple really. No two people are alike, and no two couples are alike.

 

I think the average for a married couple is 4 times a week. I remember reading that somewhere. But that statistic is pretty generic... I know you aren't married, I just figured it was worth repeating her.

I think it's a balance that is unique between every couple. I think 3-4 times a week is more or less average for a 'young' couple, but who really cares? As long as both of you are happy the way it is and communicate your needs, there is nothing to worry about

Just don't expect him not to notice if you decide to drop the sex level unilaterally.

3 or 4 times a week is fine. There is nothing wrong with that, it is just average. It is up to both of you. If you want to have sex every day, then have sex everyday. If you just want to have sex when you get the time to then...go for it. If you want more, suggest new ways to experiment.
