FA18 Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 I was told by a very good friend some advice that has stuck with me. "We fill the silence with our own insecurity" I still think about the ex alot...and I have had one hell of a rollercoster ride along the way. I'll contact her, some day...when I no longer fill the silence of NC with my insecurities as a person. I work on myself everyday to be a better person. It isn't easy. If someone says it is, call them a liar. If it is meant to be, it will be. Reflect, pray and keep working to make the next relationship the best it can be, no matter who it is with.
macgyver4ever Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 I feel the same way. I will probably be starting NC tonight, and have gone through it 2 times already with this girl. It brings her back to me, but I can't get her to stick to her decisions. Every time I start to get myself together, she calls and gets me back on the rollercoaster. It's painful, and not fair what she has done, but hopefully the relationship counselor will put her in her place tonight. Let her think about what she has done while I start the NC. Best of luck to you. MK
