I think i posted another topic a couple of days ago asking how do you know if a girl doesnt like you. Well this is my other part.

 

Im wondering how do you know when a girl is interested in you? What are the non obvious signs? Also if your talking to her on the internet, what would be some signs of attraction?

 

Im wondering about all this stuff because im talking to a girl and i want to know if she likes me without being direct with it. Just because we are friends right now, so i want to be sure before making the moves

Talking on the internet is hard. Body language is so much a part of communicating emotions and you obviously don't really get that chatting via computer and the written word is so easy to misinterpret.

 

Good signs are obviously a friendly manner, maybe a bit of flirting and if she is asking lots of questions about you. Otherwise it would be best to try and see her in person and it would give you a better idea.

I will tell you a little trick that has helped me over the years. Always assume she likes you. Act as if you knew she was crazy about you. If you think that way, you will come off confident, which will increase her chances of liking you.

 

Don't question it. Just believe it.

haha yea for the most part i always talk to her as if she likes me..i dont even usually consider her not liking me until a little later on

Hey blackhawk,

 

I met my current honey via internet. We started chatting via Yahoo! Messanger. The ways I showed him I was (still very much am ) totally interested was I always complimented him. Not just the "oh you are so cute," or, "you look good in that picture (did that too) but more deep compliments like, "you make me feel great about myself," or "I don't know what I what I would have done without your imput." Along those lines.

 

Also, I did little subtle things like those emoticons, I use the "kissy" ones, the ones with the beating hearts and I called him honey, sweetie, baby all the time. I was also always online and when he signed on, I always got butterflies in my tummy, I had the enormous sense of relief and joy that he signed on and I let him know that.

 

Bottom line is I made it very clear I was interested. Also, we played the "what if" game a lot. I was in Connecticut at the time and he is in Colorado. So we played what if we were this and what if I moved...You know what I mean?

 

I hope this helped you some. All I know, I made it pretty apparent I was interested in pursuing things further early on.

Any show of interest will be mostly communicated by body language. Body Language is the most powerful tell. You subconsciously do it.

 

Here is a short list of Show of Interest:

 

*Continues the conversation when done talking. "So..."

* Looks directly at you and not looking around.

*Squeezes back your hand when you squeeze

*Laughs at your stupid jokes

*Plays with her hair

*Touches you

*Playfully punches you

*Leans forward while you guys are talking

*Playful

*Asks if you have a girlfriend

 

Obviously, any one thing doesnt neccesarily she into you. But if she show number of signs, then it's a pretty safe bet that she she is.

You should IM her a lot. I used to get so excited when my ex boyfriend would text me all the time. It made me really happy and when he'd IM me first.

i always advocate meeting women in person. i have no idea why people ask about text so much. so much can be missed in text messages whether they are on the computer or phone or wherever. you need to see 'in person' body language. they way somebody carries themselves when they talk. a lot of these clues get lost in looking at text or using internet cams. people in front of cameras can be very good actors. you need to ask this chick to meet you in person.
