fnlyfrei Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 About three weeks after I met my fiance...and about a week after we had been intimate....he went on a previously planned trip. He said he shared the ride with another female who was a friend of a friend. When I called him that weekend they were all out for dinner and he ducked out and talked to me in the gift shop. Okay...fine, understandable. Since the trip was planned before we met....I also have a funny feeling they shared a hotel too...possibly. A week later he told me he loved me. He knew I had feelings for him at the time of the trip...even called me on his way home. I guess what bugs me is that he might have slept with someone else casually...after we had slept together...yeah, I would feel betrayed if so....it might color my feelings for him...but we are supposed to be married in July. Should I just let this go or can I ask? Part of me thinks I should..but part of me has this nagging question. I do not want to carry this in to a new marriage and have it come up either. How do I let it go? Or can I ask him? Do I even have a right? Help !
Scotcha Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 If if were me I would want to know. But I also would have asked a lot sooner too!
fnlyfrei Posted February 12, 2007 Author Posted February 12, 2007 I decided to just ask him. I was very on the fence about it because at that point, heck, we were still not exclusively dating...but I had pretty much decided he was IT for me...and he was still not sure I am sure....but he told me "NO"...they had separate tents and they were with a group of people...and he was not attracted to her whatsoever. So...okay then. I can let it go and not wonder anymore. I thanked him for answering even though he could have told me it was none of my business. He is so sweet and understanding...and good. That's why I am marrying him...plus the fact that since I met him....he was just it. I have a wedding to start planning....should be fun ! I guess this thread is closed. Thanks !
