A lil problem of mine....

I started dating this really nice girl about 5 weeks ago. She is really sweet, affectionate, and fun to be with. We live about 30 minutes from each other and our schedules are kinda messed up and we only get to see each other about 2 or 3 times a week but we talk everyday. Anyways, she is in the military and the guard and has alot of obligations and is very busy. We hung out last night after not seeing each other since monday and she basically asked me if we were bf and gf. I replied that I wanted her to be my gf and then the convo kinda ended. She then told me that she is going back to iraq in november and it kinda put me in a weird mood.

 

I feel very weird now. I really like this girl and would love to continue a relationship with her but I don't want to fall in love with her and then have her leave to Iraq for a year and me be sitting @ home worried about her safety. I don't know what to do. I don't want to stop seeing her but I don't want to fall into that lil trap. Any advice?

Aren't you going to worry about her anyway...

 

Maybe she feels that it is just not the right time to make these kinds of plans etc...

 

True love can always weather a years time.

 

At least keep the friendship that you have, and see if you can resume when she gets back.
