darkpumpkin Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 What stops you from making something an addiction. I've been addicted to drugs, people, food. And whenever I get over one I find another to take it's place. What non medical thing can you do?
luciand Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 Get addicted to a musical instrument. *spoons my guitar* Keep yourself busy with other activities, or do a reward/punishment system. Let's say if you're addicted to cigarettes. Each time you buy a pack you put in 2x that amount in a jar you cannot touch it until you're not addicted anymore for a good year. Every cig. you smoke you put in $.50. Not only will you save up some cash, but you'll see you really don't want to do it anymore because it's bad for you AND you're putting away a lot of money. Be creative like my idea.
