HellFrost666 Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 I don't know about books or websites but you may want to try therapy.
Drunk Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 I do that too, its just our way of expressing ourselves. I dont think too much about it
Jetta Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 Well you should meet with a psychologist. They have meds that will help alleviate this problem, if it's bad enough to warrent meds.
sidehop Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 I talk to myself all the time...like little comments. I don't think it's bad!
kevin_18 Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 It's not a bad thing to reflect on thoughts, ideas or incidents as long as you don't get taken away by them. Carried away I mean. If you find the past is interferring with your experience of the present then there is a definite problem as appears to be the case with you. But at least you know that it's a problem. That's the first step in getting rid of it or anything.
Parsley Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 Everyone has moments like that...my dad does it all the time! I often find myself talking outloud to myself, and if what I'm thinking about annoys me enough, sometimes I end up smacking myself in the face about it, or wincing terribly. It's just one of those things! I'm sure you're fine.
