Hubbys_glitter_is_gold Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Ive being going out with my boyfriend Trevor for a very long time now. Well he lives in Florida and i live in South Carolina. We get to see each other like every 3 months or so. When we're together we never argue or anything its just blistful happiness and pure love but after we leave each other it seems we start arguing over little things. Especially around test time for him because he goes to college in Florida. I love him more than anything in the world and breaking up is never an option. im just not use to being in a LDR this long and its harder than i thought it to be and it gets even harder with every visit. I just need some HELPFUL and non-criticizing advice.
sidehop Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Hi there! Yes LDR can be difficult and sometimes you miss that person so much yet you just cannot do anything Do you two have any plans as far as one of you moving? It's one thing that I learned from my past LDR is that you just can't go forever without knowing when two people will be together physically. The time & distance can take its toll at the end. It could be one reason why you two may be arguing at times.
Hubbys_glitter_is_gold Posted February 9, 2007 Author Posted February 9, 2007 yes.. Next spring im scheduled to transfer from my school to his. His parents would never agree with him coming here so i decided that ill step up and go to him.
Hubbys_glitter_is_gold Posted February 9, 2007 Author Posted February 9, 2007 and by the way. cute rabbit i had one that looks exactly like that. name was cece
Aleadragonhawk Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 I had a similar experience in my LDR, not so much with arguing but with us both just being stressed allover. It can be really hard to be so far apart from someone that you love - but it sounds like you'll be able to be together soon. I'd suggest talking to him about the way that you've been feeling, and that it worries you when you two argue over the little things.
