Belgian girl
The boy I'm almost together with, is a very shy guy. Next month he'll become nineteen and he hasn't been together before, I'm sure he wants me as well (especially if I believe his best friends (for about six years)). Has anyone advice about how to make him feel more comfortable or to start taking which initiative or something? Thanks! Link to comment
kevin_18
There are a number of reasons why he might be shy. Ultimately though, most shy people are afraid to talk ect. because they are afraid. Mainly of criticism, rejection and always of taking the next step and the future consequences of their actions. How well do you really know this person? What is it you actually want with or from them? How much do you really talk to them? Has he ever truly shown you how he feels to your face? Link to comment

As someone else said, most people are shy because they fear criticism and lack confidence in social interaction. So be uplifting and friendly and help build that confidence. Ultimately however, the change has to come from within. Link to comment

Belgian girl
Thank you. Yes, I think that's one of the ways that improves the situation. I gave and still give him a lot of time and not much pressure. Link to comment
