I have to agree with Lost. If it takes anywhere near an hour, both partners have made some mistakes (unless she just wants to do it that long). I could be just poor planning. Many men can just get close from sex and have her finish him off with a quickish blowjob. When you are about to blow most anything works. In the above case, either her technique is obviously not correct for that particular man (and he hasn't worked with her to help teach her), he can't get off from a blowjob at all, or they are doing an exceedingly poor job at commmunicating. He very well might not be into it mentally. In any event, I like the notion that everyone is responsible for their own orgasm. I'd never come down on a woman for having bad technique. I am just happy if I get a blowjob at all. But truth be told technique is huge for men who have trouble getting off orally. It may feel great, but a different technique is needed to actually finish it off. And that varies by each man. If a man can get off by masturbation using his hand in X minutes, then he can learn to get off with a combo hj/bj in X minutes too. I might add from a guys point of view, it is usually a consistent rhythm that brings orgasm from a hj or blowjob. Constantly switching things up won't get the job done much of the time. You can think of the buildup and 'slowly' turn up the dial. You do the same basic motion or a few variations thereof and increase intensity based on his reactions. If it isn't working, HE should tell you that and should be able to suggest some modifications that feel better. It helps to note that for some men, the build up may take 5-10 minutes. He may not go from 'I am doing fine baby' to ' oh God, oh God, I am coming' in a minute or two. Link to comment

It shouldnt take an hour. And yes I know what im talking about I am a guy. Put it this way, find out how long it takes your man to do the job himself... Im guessing its NOT an hour. Thats about how long it should take you, give or take a few minutes. And yes oral can sometimes take longer, as it doesnt provide the same level of 'friction' that sex, or a handjob does in most cases.
