To teach, or not to teach...?

When you write your thesis, you get it published (you also want to copyright it), it's very simple, so don't worry about it.

 

In terms of publishing lots of papers, it's not absolutely necessary for teaching at the college level (I have known some who had no publications), but you need publications to teach at the university level.
