A catharsis

I've been longing for release for so long

I heard the word in another place

And I thought "that's what will free me"

 

The cathartic

The hopeless wondering

A sense for the dramatic

In the name of freedom

 

A trickle

Is all I'm allowed here

Fear that the flood gates cannot be closed again

It's so not the explosion I hoped for

 

A release

Nonetheless is here. Unannounced and unexpected

I've been freed by the most closed of people

A strange tearful phantom inside me now.

 

I'm so happy

But it's a trickle

A peaceful trickle

It's so relaxing.
