Alone and confused, Great combination

Yeah, I don't know how to put this... I'm one of those shy girls that just hides in the corner of the room doing her own thing. And then it hit me, "I've been alone, for 15 years" I want to change that, but i dont know how to get guy's attention or how to really see if people are looking ofr someone like me, it may seem confusing. I just want some help.

If this just hit you now, you must not have been trying to hard to get their attention in the first place. So now maybe that you realize all this, you can get into the game and start getting guys attention and go from there. Make sure that you aren't acting like that girl-in-the-corner because that will read as being unapproachable. Make eye contact with guys when you are around them and don't let go until they smile back. That way they will want to approach you and not feel so intimidated by you like they would if you were kinda off by yourself in the corner, just doing your own thing and not making much of an effort to communicate.
