i don't know how to respond to this...

I've been in and out of touch with my ex-she's been calling a lot, and we are nice to each other, for the most part. I know she misses me, but I don't know how to respond to that, so when she tells me, I acknowledge it but don't respond in kind.

 

However, I got just got this message from her:

 

"don't know if you can tell by this late night barrage (sp) of messages but i miss you. like in the way when you didn't hate me or think ill of me. i miss how well we used to get along. i really miss my best friend. ....................f**k."

 

I'd think I'd feel bad if I didn't respond, but I don't know what to say. Any ideas?

Reply with nothing. For real...only reply to her if she wants to get back. If you do reply tough i would say something like:

 

"I miss that to but thats not my doing. If you wanted that level of intamacy then we wold still be together....etc..."
