Life, Death, and Love

Recommended Posts

These are the only things that matter in the end. I think people who have experienced these things will agree they are by far the most profound.

Like others have said, one really doesn't have expectations to live up to... most of them are just illusions.

Maybe this view would help to liberate some who are at the end of their tethers.

Yes, love is a glorious feeling but so is hate. Both can make you powerful.

Life and death may not matter all that much if in fact this is only one phase of many in our life. This life is temporary regardless. Death may be an exit from this reality and also an entrance to our next existence. Who knows....

Yeah, love and hate are both very powerful. It feels to me though like love can overcome hate because as where hate is directed at a sort of void, love hits something solid.

I think self-love is equal in importance to romantic love, though judging by the number of older members that agree with bent, that sentiment might change over time.

I know I can't really pigeonhole this stuff into three different categories, life is so much more complex than that (so much that no person could ever fully describe it using language), but if I had to I would categorize these experiences with 'Life'. (not just being born)
