Longest time...

I just want to pose a question to those who did NC and got back together afterwards, doesn't matter if you aren't together now.

 

What is the longest time you have been in NC and then gotten back together with your ex, and I mean total NC where there was no communication at all.

6 months.

 

completely no contact.

 

but, mines a little diff cuz it was with a best friend.

 

she got over it, I emailed her, and.....I got an apology.

June to October, no contact. October to New Year's Eve, never saw each other, but talked on the phone and some other contact. She invited me to a party at her place on New Year's Eve, and I literally dumped someone the night before (it was going downhill quickly anyway), with the accepted invite as part of my motivation. When I got to her place, we kissed hello, but it was not just a "hello", it was one with intent behind it.

 

The reconcilation lasted into the following October.

Thanks, it's still a good memory.

 

In some ways, I still miss her. I would never trade in what I have now for her, but I wonder how she is, and still have some feelings for her. I walk near her office regularly on my way from home to the subway, and I know she still must take that subway. Maybe I'll run into her sometime, but when I do, I hope to see a ring on her finger. I would feel better about seeing her in that case, because I have one on mine.
