Hey there and btw guys and girls im sorry for this being a long post...

Last summer after i finished college, i started work for my parents on their house at the lake with a hired contractor... well during the summer i got really close to a girl and we became good friends and i was really interested in becoming more.....well after a few days of not hearing from her my sister (who's the same age) told me she was dating a guy (who by far her type) and she never told me...i asked her about us after and she said she liked me alot as a friend and didnt want to ruin the friendship..well this hurt like a bullet in the heart cause im truly inlove with this woman...I then accepted to leave for college starting in winter semester.......we didnt see much of each other for a while until i left and all....while i was gone she dumped the guy and got another boyfriend who i knew and i hung out for like 1 hour or 2 with them during my visite in the "Extended" march break thanks to the strike....and she didnt pay much attention (not surprised cause she had a bf) and i left back for college.....ok well its the july longweekend and i went home for the weekend (i had heard prior that she had broken up with the guys a couple weeks ago) and she was at the airport with my mom to pick me up , looking damn great i must say. we spent a lot and i mean a lot of time together over the weekend and one evening she gave me a letter she had hand written saying that me being gone for so long made her realize how much she loved me. and she added verbally that she didnt want to start something while i was gone (reasonable) i speak with my parents frequently and they say she's always asking about me and when im going back and such.....i wanted all of your opinions on this and if you think she loves me.....my mind is already set but id just like a few opinions on it....thanks for reading

 

 

Oh i just wanna add that since ive been gone she's gotten a new boyfriend. im not sure if she's just bidding her time till i get back or what...but the news of this Hit me like a bullet in the heart

None of this sounds like "love" but more along the lines of a crush. If she said she is interested in you, what are you doing asking us on the forums about it? Instead you should be going out with her, having fun, kissing her, etc. Do not talk to her about this anymore, just start doing things with her and making moves to advance the relationship.

Yeah, I can't tell you unless I see the letter, but it sounds to me like she may have just been using the word "love" lightly, or at most, in a friendly way, like "I love you to death, you're the greatest!" sort of thing. If she said she doesn't want to start anything while you're gone, well, she has feelings for you I guess...but if she truly loved you, why does she have a bf now? She seems like one of those people that constantly needs to have a boy in her life. If she were a boy, I might even call her a player.

 

I guess all you can do, really, is wait till you come back from college and try to take things further with her.

I every...i just thought i should add my conclusion to whats happened. i thank you for the advice but i went with my heart and things turned out well... Since then we've been talking alot via MSN cause im away at school. and we've gotten closer...and we are both waiting ( as in seeing no one else) for me to finish school which is at Xmas (yes for good) and then we talked about moving slowly and all and she mentioned she wants to wait for kissing and all till i get back...which is on so we made a promise. well i went home for a week between semesters and along with my mom she came to pick me up at the airport....as we cuddled in the vehicule she told me she had a surprise...she was sleeping over...now yes we slepted in the same bed but on the covers and feel asleep looking at each other...we spent most of the week together cuddling and holding hands and the night before i left we were watching a movie and before i left we almost kissed but didnt. we talk again on msn when i returned to school and she said she wanted to but we had promised so she backed off....I am So in love with her and she will always tell me how she loves me and kisses on msn...So just to let you all know whats happened. and We will be continuing our relationship (at a much faster pace) when i return home

 

Oh and btw about me saying taht she got another bf...those were lies spread by someone who used to cell herself our friend..and it happened before we started talking via msn
