Smiling

Okay... this guy knows I have a thing about him and at a mutual friends party the other week I caught him looking over and smiling at me at least three times ; once when I walked past when he was with his mates, once when I hugged a friend and he was standing some distance away.. I could see over her shoulder, and lastly when I was standing right next to him. Could this mean he is attracted to me as well?

From a guy's perspective I would say he does like you, I am in a relationship but if I wasn't, to let a girl know I liked her I would keep looking at her, but being shy, I wouldn't be too sure of my next move.

What type of guy is he? is he shy? if he is then you may need to make some kind of move so that he know's you like him back, smile back at him and he may make the first move.

It could mean he likes you, but it could not. Usually, though, if someone can't take their eyes off you, and keeps sneaking glances, they have a thing for you

He could be shy too, but if he were super-shy, he would probably look quickly away every time he saw you looking back at him.

Then again, it could be that he isn't looking at you becuase he likes you, and thereforeeee isn't embarressed when you catch him.

It's best to look for other signs that agree.

You might also consider just walking up to him and talking to him, say hello and chat for a few minutes, being very firendly, then get conveniently called away from continuing the conversation, have your phone ring or someone grab you desparately away. And calmly tell him, looks like I am needed elsewhere.

You show that you are friendly, and willing to talk to him. He should feel comfortable opening up a conversation with you. You are also busy and otherwise desired. Which makes him want you more. Good luck.
