i dated my ex girl for over a year we broke up 3 mo ago we still call and see each other but she says she wants to be friends ive tried not calling but one of us breaks down and calls ,I dont want to play these games but when i state how i feel we argue she says she loves me but not like that?what ever that means after we were ssaying it for real,why the games,she broke up w/ me shouldnt she just want me not around?

Well being together for a year is quite a long time. You built a good friendship. Maybe she just doesn't want to let that part of your relationship go? But unfortunantly, when you break up with someone, it's hard to keep a friendship because one person usually wants more.

 

You have to be selfish here. Your feelings are important. If you need a break from contact with her, then tell her so and try hard not to give in. She needs to respect your feelings. After all, you respected her feelings to break up with you.

 

Maybe one day things will be different, but for now you need to stick with what you are feeling. It's not going to be easy.
