AKAJohnDoe
I broke up with my girlfriend 1 mo ago and realized it was a mistake 2 days after. I told her how I was feeling and she did not want me back. I told her we shouldn' talk anymore. She called me 2 days later and said I am going to call if I want to. Sometimes I ansered the phone sometimes I did not. 2 weeks afterwards she invited me to the Renisoance festival, where we had alot of fun and eventually kissed. The next day she said it was a mistake and that I was making harder on myself. So that night I left her a basket full of Hersheys kisses covered with rose petals, then covered with a Winny the Pooh wash cloth, and then I laid a long stem rose on top of that. I also covered her walk way with rose petals all the way to the door. She called me that night and said I did good. The next day I found out that she liked someone else, so I suggested that we not talk anymore. She called me 2 days later and said that there was a guy she liked alot and that she loved me also. 1 week later its Halloween and I called her and hoped that she was doing well and to have a Happy Halloween. She was in North Carolina at the time, with this guy she likes. She called me back the next day and wished me the same. She then called me on Monday and said that she did not want to lose the one thing that was good in her life, that I was the only one that professed love to her, and that she is depressed with her job, her life, all the money she owes, the possiblity of going to jail (she gots a lot of reckless driving tickets ) and pretty much everything. I told her to cheer up (in more words ) and to give me another chance, she would not. So the next day I go to her house with a yellow rose and a card wishing her sunshine and happiness. Then we had a long talk. She told about this guy and that she told him she does not want a boyfriend right now and that she hadn't done anything with him. I told her that in the 10 secs I met this guy that he seemed smart and would probably take care of her. She grabbed my arm and said shut up in weird way (also this guy is supposed to be moving to California in January, I do not know how accurate this is however). We talked some more... She then asked that if we got back together what would my grandma think (my grandma hung up on her)? I told her that if there was a smile on my face, then there would be a smile on her face. We talked some more... I told her not to take on the world in one swipe but to handle a little bit at a time. We talked some more... I told here that I like having someone to share my problems with, someone to hold onto, and someone to be there for me. Basically implying that I wasn't going to wait for her, even though I am not ready to move on. She said if you feel you have to go out and date then do it. By now it was getting cold so I stood up and said I would let her warm up her toes. We then proceeded to give each other the longest close contact dancing hug ever in my life, along with a couple of kisses to her neck and forhead. It felt so good, that for a second I forgot that we are not going out. We always used to hug. My stomach started growling afterwards, I then asked her to lunch, she said she would go, but that she would not eat anything. She said she is starving herself, because she is getting a belly. I said thats alright. I then left with her saying I will talk to you later and me nodding. This was 2 days ago. What should I do? Should I persue her or should I do what I have been doing and that is minimizing contact? Her confusion is confusing me. Maybe because she is depressed, I don't know. I think about her all the time, she consumes me.
BabyGirl16
Obviously, it's not up to you to pursue her if she's going back and forth. If I were you I would let her know what you want(only if your sure about it) and then give her space to deal with her own ordeals and to find out what she wants. If you care for her, I would be there as a friend and support through these hard times... But if she can't decide who or what she wants, I would move on with my life. And in time she'll either realize her lose or her gain. And for you, be strong-minded in your decision and realize that everything happens for a reason. If it is your fate to be with her then it will be. If not, then it will take this change in your life to find your true destiny. Good luck!!
