calgaryguy Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 So i went on a date last night and It went so well , we like each other and what not, but then when I got home at 4 am my ex was on msn and msg me. I told her basically that I didnt want to talk to her unless she made up her mind and told her how great my date went and she got pissed right off. I think I kind of blew my chances right there but it didnt seem like there was a chance to begin with. I dont know if this was a mistake or not .... what should I do?

It was kind of cruel to brag about your date....and not really necessary at all. But the fact is, you did not "blow any chances" as she broke up with you and a risk she took was you dating others and moving on. You are allowed to date. Just the rubbing it in was not the classiest thing to do.. I would just let it be honestly. Down the road if you talk to her again say you were sorry for rubbing it in but you were tired/cranky or what not and were not thinking straight. But then leave it at that.
ShaKe__ Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Stop thinking about your ex.You say you liked your date, that means you're over the past.Did you intent to make your ex jealous by telling her about it? I must admit you did the right thing.Besides-you're wondering if it;s right or not just because of the wonderful moments you used to have with your ex.So now what do you prefer-a broken relationship,or a new, healthy one?
