NJRon Posted January 31, 2006 Share Posted January 31, 2006 Just from my perspective, the losing/gaining weight thing, in and of itself, is not a reason for me to gain/lose attraction to someone. Instead, it is the actual (or perceived) changes in self-confidence that go along with it. Someone loses self-confidence and gains weight, they gain self-confidence and lose weight (or one preciptates the other)... either way, on some sort of sub-conscious level, I find the two intertwined. So... in a way, if someone loses weight (in a healthy way) or, in some other way starts taking care of themselves, then yes, I find myself more attracted to them. Not because of the weight itself per se, but more because it is a reflection of their own self-image. Link to comment
