A single tear runs over my cheek

Grasping the pillow -

Soaking up all I have to offer

Letting go of all the aggression -

The emotion built up

I bury my head

Hide from the world

Such a small room

Such a cold reality

 

I feel your hand

Stroking my hair aside

You smooth away

These tears from my eyes

I close them gently to shy away from you

But you turn my face

I try to look through

Such a gentle touch

Pulling me close

Grasping all of my fears

You hide me from all the horrors

And release me

Smiling here to neva. Thinking of the one person who holds me and wipes away my tears, letting me be who I am and releasing everything inside me. You've got a way with words kiddo, a way to reach people's emotions.

Thanks guys, i thought id put a twist in this one. I guess i wanted to show contrasting emotions and how much someone can really free you from a "scary" situation. Its an amazing feeling.
