gullible_soul
Does anyone have any general theories about love? Any comments about it? Do you have a story to tell? Some quotes to share? Share here! I have a few, too. *Love is like pi-- natural, irrational, and very important. *Why is it that when you miss somebody so much that your heart is ready to disintegrate, you always hear the saddest song ever on the radio? mgirl
Sometimes i think love is something constructed by the card companies like John Sands! Sometimes i think love is a socially constructed concept that helps us deal with sex better. It is part of human nature to physically bond in terms of affection, but i have often pondered... what is this thing called love? To me, love is an energy that exists in many forms. For example, it is possible to love nature, to love a flower, to love an animal, and just to "love" altogether, but applying it to a romantic relationship sometimes gets confusing to me. I think it is confused with sex sometimes, and i think it is sometimes confused with wanting to be accepted, or to be intimate with somebody. Love, in a romantic relationship is the highest form of praise and it is something that lifts us above the ordinary to soar like an eagle. Link to comment

DN
The most wonderful of all things in life, I believe, is the discovery of another human being with whom one's relationship has a glowing depth, beauty, and joy as the years increase. This inner progressiveness of love between two human beings is a most marvelous thing, it cannot be found by looking for it or by passionately wishing for it. It is a sort of Divine accident.
